HPB is always a great way to spend a bit of time and uncover new fun games, music, or reads to explore. Take some you are done with when you go, too!

It's a nice store, well organized, clean restroom. The music is a bit loud of a book store, I'd like it better if it were something softer, more mellow. So I can try to read the book summary without having to tune out the blaring alternative rock music overhead. Also, the staff was having a rather loud conversation about how much they HATE (yes, he yelled it..) how much they hate talking to customers on the phone. "Just look on the website, I hate talking to people" That wasn't great to hear. Because I had called earlier to confirm the times since there's conflicting store hours online..sorry to be a nuisance. I found a couple good books, but I think I'd opt for a different location next time. Thanks.

They buy, sell, and trade books, DVDs, music CDs, video games, and a few other things. Great place.
Yes, if its not too old and in good condition. Won't get much for it though
1st off if you've got good good stuff - do not take it there - they not gonna give ya sh*t for them- do your homework on what you got ( Google it or check it on Ebay) If you got meh ok stuff - you might get lucky with 10$ for the lot
Yes, they pay you in book credits.
Calling would be good to ensure proper staff levels
Seriously?!? Call them! No one is bothering to check google questions for stuff like this. Sorry don't mean to be insensitive if you anxiety, but these people are busy non-stop, they're more than happy to help, but checking google questions is not on their list. Call them.
They might.
Call your local store and they can check their inventory as well as the other stores for the particular book(s) you are looking for.
Yes, but you will not get very much money.
No, they do not have a book club.
Best way to find out is to call the store directly and ask. They will even set it aside for you if they do. If not id go to the online store for hpb and see if available on there. Still same great prices
Depends on the condition of the books, the need of that store, etc.
Not sure if they're open today. I would call before going. Happy July 4th!
you can call your closest store and ask and they now can look in a computer database. If they don't have it there they can pull it from any one of their locations around town or even out of Houston. And have it shipped to that store near you or your house
Why don't you call then and ask?!
Yes. Tell me a little bit more about you. What's your background and what do you being to the table?
Yes, though it's hit or miss.
Yes, you just need to know your PIN for the gift card. If it doesn't have one, take it to an HPB location and exchange it for one that does. -from their website FAQ
You can sell books, board games, signs, more books, accessories, and yes, Unused Recordable DVD's
Yes and sometimes they have sales for anime cartoon and manga books/mags etc
Yes
Yes, plenty vinyls
You can call them and ask to look for it before going in and they can reserve it if they do. If it's a recent title it won't be half price though. I think you only get 20 percent off new titles.
They but most books. May call them first.
