The people are very kind, but most of the food is expired and the fruit 🍉 in bad condition 😟😟 the meat is expired and defrosted, that really made me sad

What volunteer opportunities do you have for a 13 year old accompanied by an adult?

ALICE HALL | Nov 5, 2020
Kent Adams | Nov 5, 2020

There is a lot of volunteer opportunity for any children 12 and up with or without an adult. Cy Fair Helping Hands is a good pantry and homeless outreach. If you call or go by location on Cherry Park you'll be able to schedule one-time volunteer day or regular weekly volunteering. It's a great place to volunteer and help is always needed as organizations and pantries like it operate solely by volunteer help. Tell them Kent Adams referred you.

What do you need to get food help besides an ID?

I want to donate litely used Pakistani and American cloths. If you take clothes Is pickup possible?

Samren Khan | Nov 6, 2018
Patricia Hudson | Nov 6, 2018

Thank you for thinking of us, Samren. CFHH serves the homeless and the hungry within the zip codes of CFISD. We have a food pantry, serve the homeless teens in CFISD, and provide compassion bags of food for our homeless friends. On occasion, clothing is requested. At this time, we have need only for size 16 jeans for a young adult woman, size 16-18 clothing for an older women, and a pair of size 9 boots for a young worker. As we have limited space in our pantry, we do not have room to store many other items. We also do not have sufficient volunteers to do porch pick ups. Blessings! Can I go to the pantry if I live in spring?

Lisa Quiles | Nov 6, 2018
Cy-Fair Helping Hands | Jul 8, 2022

You can come to the Pantry but there are many resources located in your area. Call 2-1-1 for more details, and Google "food pantries near me" for churches that give our food weekly.
