I was referred by HCIL to ask for a homeless letter. I would like to know how does this process works. I'm single, in a wheelchair & homeless. I'm tryiing to get my Housing sincentives 2016 & homeless for almost 3months

Go to the sobriety center to get a homeless letter. Then go to search within 30 days for an assessment.

It takes a while. Go to search ask them to do a homeless assessment. they will guide you through the rest.

The beacon will give you a homeless letter. Just let them know you are new.

Get your homeless letter from Beacon, Lord of the Streets, etc.Then take it to Search. Since you're in a wheelchair, I'm certain you've already contacted DARS??

The Beacon also helps and you can take showers and clean your clothes. Eating lunch and charging electronic devices while you wait.Lord of the streets is useful as well.
