My family is 50% Native American. My Father grew up on a Res until he joined the Army and fought in Vietnam. Would you mind telling me which state you are currently in ?? My father just passed and I am trying to create a home for my Mom that would give her 63 years of their marriage in the home. You do not have to answer if you are uncomfortable...but you would help My family regain so much of my Fathers life that was lost in the numerous Military moves that we made. God speed May the sun warm your face And Tatonka watch your sunsets Cindi Indian

those artifacts are likely important to the still living members of that tribe. please find a way to return the items to the tribe rather than giving them to a museum. they may be sacred, or just a connection to their heritage.
