There may be a difference in the size of the shaft that the driven converter requires. For better fitment and functionality a torque converter bolt on kit may work better. How ever you'll need to adapt a sprocket to the input shaft on the golf kart transmission/gearbox. Cars and Cameras and or Red Beards Garage YouTube channels did something like this. Hope this helps.
