Hi everyone, I have a hammerhead twister 150 go cart with a issue.under heavy acceleration above 19-20 mph it “hiccups”like a bucking condition. I have changed carb changed coils plugs everything.. Maybe valve spring?cdi problem? Any help? Thanks.

It may need carb adjusted or air filter dirty. I never had a cdi box go out so don't know what that does. I used to have a 150cc hammerhead but I don't recall having that problem. Hopefully that will help you.

I have repaired one with the same problem. It was a coil issue but you have to buy a hammerhead coil not a ebay one as for some reason they do not work with the stock cdi and stator. The coil will test good but for some reason have a dead spot under load
