A nature walk would be a great idea.
Fishing, hiking, picnicking, barbecue pit, bird watching, kayaking, jogging, biking, and just about anything but camping because the park closes at dark. It is a beautiful place to hang out, just don't expect privacy because a ton of people use the park.

It has a paved walk way around the lake. Fishing peirs, A sand volleyball court. Fire rings and picknic tables. Benches around the lake.
I like the "How to fish" classes and book nook! I also like that you can park near the restrooms, picnic and boat launch area.
Hiking trails, fishing, kayaking, nature watching, bike trails, playgrounds for the kids, dog walks. Basically what you can do at a park too.
