Can you access this campground over the dam or is it still closed?

You cross the river in front of the dam and come up from the side. It is clearly marked with signs.

I think the government limits driving accross dams.

Still closed as of a week or so ago

The dam road is still closed.

Closed will most likely never open again. There was talk about paving some of the way in but that has failed to happen as of yet.
