Things that don't sell are either kept at the home or if it's something she thinks she can put in her store to sell she will pay the seller for it.
I know she Mark's items down and a few times a year she does deep discounts on much of her store. She does a lot of different events, so she may bring the item to one of those events for better exposure. I honestly think she has a tremendous turn over rate. If the item is on consignment, my guess is she returns it to the owner. She is a wonderful person, I am sure she would discuss any concerns you had with her.
