I am a woman who graduated from the program I stayed there for 14 months at no cost but got my life back. There are rules lots of them. They do keep your money and teach you to budget. We us addicts have money it can be a trigger so that is why they do that. This place isn't for everyone but it for sure is for the ones who really want to get clean and who want to put in the work to get clean and stay clean. As a recovering addict I went to all measures to get my drug's and when I decided I was done they opened their doors to me. I went in there in 2010 and four months later I relapsed and it took me a year to go back and beg them to help me. People are going to say their bad things about this place and that's because they didn't get their way this place has rules for a reason it is what keeps this place going. I recommend this place and it has been almost 8 years for me since they helped save my life.

They can help. Their recovery program is strict and demanding, but it works. All services are free.

If that's true , this place sounds like a waste of time. However consider the fact that no one can help someone who doesn't want help .

give them 85% of his check (no exaggeration) he cannot get or spend any of it until he leaves the program because they want to dictate what he spends it on (i.e. they said they want us to use it for when we get a place to stay). He will also have a hard time being able to get a lunch for work if he does not receive food stamps because the staff will fight with you for it. Also, he cannot speak with or communicate with anyone who is not in the same exact program with him or he will be kicked out. He cannot speak to the public at any point unless he is 1000% out of view of the building. He must also only eat what they provide him and only at the time they provide. Lastly, he must be prepared for the rules to change quite literally every single day and abide by each new rule or he will be kicked out. Good luck!

They disrespectful and they don't know how to run the program. If you're in the homeless program and need help swwwwwww yea ok those staffs are very disrespectful to the people coming in to get the chance to get help. I hope that the mayor open up a few more of them and let someone who knows what the hell they're doing
