You can just go there between 8 am nd 3 pm and just drop it off
Yes they do
I was there Wednesday and their not talking donations presently , but will soon .
Yup. Do about 4 hours of community service and they'll give it to you for free
No
Talk to them they will help you
No,it is just a day center for meals, showers and case working management for those in need.ie.housing medical assistance, and other social services.however they do provide meals and personal hygiene and essentials for individuals.my experience is, it's a excellent place to stabilize yourself for some sanity and normalization.the staff are some the best and very respectfully accountable for the services provided.
The Carpenter's place is not a shelter in itself, however there are caseworkers there who will help you with clothes, hygiene items, transportation, getting your paperwork, and housing. The have residential housing that they have you work for. They did have accommodations for men and women. Your best bet is to be there by 7 am so you can see a caseworker and find out how they may be able to help you.
Privacy issues are at play here. How did you get the message to meet at carpenters place??? We can make lots of suggestions but ultimately these people are bound to privacy of clients. Try being a volunteer for a few weeks or months. God only hopes your intensions are honorable.
It's the regular carpenters place number you just ask yo leave a message for a person who comes therw
Call there or go there
They will not . The reasons are complicated . Sometimes they out reach to special people that " must have" privacy.. i would suggest you stop by and have a private conversation.
You nerd to be one of the first 6 in line to be able to see a case manager you may want to check the Rockford Rescue Mission
