They have gone corporate now so not only do they not give senior discounts, they only care about your money. My daughter had a HORRIBLE experience with Archer Vet when her dog was dying and they pretty much held him ransom in the back room and wouldn't let her or her husband see the dog until they paid the $600 for the emergency visit up front. Our entire family has been clients since the 1970's when Dr. Pool was there. We have never left owing them money, we've never had an outstanding balance. For them to treat my daughter like this with such a tragedy has lost them my business and anyone else's who I can forewarn to stay away! Dr. Pool must be rolling in his grave.
I am very disappointed in Archer Veterinarians service because it's all about the money and the prices have jumped up alot. I was just there recently with my sister we had brought them 13 puppies her 2 females had gotten pregnant anyway they quoted me one price and when we where all done the bill was 250 higher then they quoted and we were told that's what we charge. I was very upset and said they quoted me a different price but they just didnt care and I have been going there for over 18yrs. So Disappointed. Very upsetting
