I'm a first time customer here. Very disappointed when I was told one cost and when I came to pick up my bird it was a different cost. I personally think they should've honored the original cost I was quoted. I never received a call saying it would cost more if they needed to do additional stuff. Poor communication! Then the lady at the front desk said I could just pay for the visit and not receive the xrays and medication and I'd be on my marry way. No, the right thing would've been. I'm sorry we didnt communicate with you like we should've and honor there mistake. I love my bird and I want to help her get better, so not being happy I paid the incorrect cost. Then nobody there could go over my birds xray with me. The vet left for the day. Unacceptable! Plus I was told it was curb side service and your only suppose to be at the service desk for drop off and pick up of your pet but there where people waiting in the waiting. I guess they don't enforce there own rules. I discussed my issues with the management. I have to take my bird back in 2 weeks to see how's she's doing. Hopefully they will offer something for this not to great experience so far.

Midwest Bird and Exotic is a 24 hour Emergency hospital. They see chickens during both regular hours as well as after hours. I wouldnt wait if you suspect an upper respiratory infection.
It ranges depending on the location usually runs from 280 to 350 its whether you want ashes back or not
They probably can my chicken had the same problem bit hers was a defective disease and too far gone meant but hers was too far gone they treat small animals tho and ate very good I fecommens them
I think it depends on what's wrong, but I doubt it'll be cheap.
I used them for a chicken and a guinea pig and found the pieces to be very reasonable.
I would think so. But I would call to double check. But I can't see why they wouldn't.
They take all type of ecotic animals except monkeys i believe. They have a website with lots of great info, except prices.
Er exam is $130. Meds range but average about $40. No appointments open for about 3 weeks.... walk ins pay ER exam fee.
They do.
I was just there this past weekend with my baby Bearded Dragon and upon arrival, one of the nurses handed me literally a stack of papers all with essentially information of how to properly care for my pet! I'm sure they have something for you!
If you don't have medical insurance for pets it will be kinde of expensive because cocktails are exotic pets ( I paid $900 for my guinea pig to stay in for 2 days and still died)
I believe so, but you can call and ask. They are super friendly.
They do! They have pictures up in their office of some that they have treated.
Yes they do and they are open 24/7
They should
They do have staff that habla espanol
Sounds like she may be in distress. I would call Midwest now and get her there if you can. They are 24 hours. Tomorrow may be too late.
Generally no, but today after 3 pm Lucy speeks Spanish, call them and ask for her. If you do have an emergency with your pet, I would just go in and ask someone who knows to interpret
Get off the internet and get your pup in to see a vet this morning.
Just call they have great veterinarian.
yes they do ferret consider as exotic animal
They do. And they have an er. The number is on their site.
They do see cats and dogs. They have their hours posted on their website. And you can make an appointment online too.
Not sure if they do.
Not sure about a bunny. But they did ok for our guinea pig. Would have to call them.
I recommend you call them to find out the cost. They'll probably want you to bring your pet in to assess him/her.
That's a great question, they are open 24hrs, so you can call and ask🐹
They take all animals
Do you mean an upper respiratory infection because Guinea pigs dont get the flu? I believe that a 1st time exam is around $69. Any medication will be extra. If you call, they can give you a better idea over the phone.
Yes, they can sex your bird.
Yes all of the veterinarians at Midwest Bird and Exotics see rabbits!
Regular exams start at $71 per guinea pig, plus additional for x-rays, other tests, and medication, if needed. During ER hours (Mon-Fri after 7pm, Sat-Sun after 2pm), exam starts at $120.
I believe so. Better to call first.
