No jet boats are permitted on White Rock Lake due to city ordinance (and no rental boats are available).
Jet skis and Windsurfers are prohibited on White Rock Lake per City of Dallas ordinance. Swimming is also prohibited on White Rock. For power boats and jet ski rentals, I suggest Chandler's Landing Marina boat rental on Lake Ray Hubbard, minutes east of downtown Dallas in Rockwall, TX. Also on White Rock Lake, there is also a 10.5 maximum horsepower restriction on the lake that is strictly enforced; you may see some of the safety and rescue boats on the lake with more power.
