Yes, you must be a member of CSC (Corinthian Sailing Club) in order to keep a boat there. Please go to CSCsailing.org then click Club Info, then Membership Info to see details and cost.
Corinthian Sailing Club features weekly club / fun races on Sunday's. All sailboat at CSC are 20 feet or shorter. Crews start gathering around 12:30pm on Sunday's, first race signal on the water at 1:30pm. Come to the club and introduce yourself sometime, it's fun! NOT affiliated with either sailing club is The Spirit Of Dallas (TSOD) sailboat, the 38' sailing catamaran on the lake. While TSOD is the largest sailboat on White Rock Lake, the longest boats on the lake are the sleek 60' rowing shells. You can often see the beautiful long rowing shells gliding across the water early mornings and toward evening time when they are out practicing. You can find pictures of both on Face book (search "The Spirit Of Dallas" and "Dallas United Crew"). TSOD has free sails available and is supported by donations to TheSpiritOfDallasFoundation.org Programs focus on lake beautification and public sailing experience, education. Park rules apply aboard TSOD (no smoking, no alcohol).
No jet boats are permitted on White Rock Lake due to city ordinance (and no rental boats are available).
