Hi James! Bikes are not allowed in Oliver Nature Park but our linear trail was just expanded to add a concrete trail that starts at the back of the park and goes 1.25 miles to the 360 service road. There is no direct connection to the highway, so you would be riding on grass (and private property) for about 100 yards or so to get to the road itself, which we do not recommend. Most guests just turn around at the trail head at 360 and take the trail back in the opposite direction. Future expansions that are currently in development will take the trail under 360 and to the eastern city limits, and also add a paved path that will connect the new section to the existing linear trail that ends at McKnight Park East. So you should very soon be able to ride a longer distance, but for now we have the standalone segments. The best place to access the new linear trail segment is from Philip Thompson Soccer Complex, 1071 N Holland Road.
From their website: Inline skates, roller skates and bicycles are permitted on concrete trails only Walk through the DG path to get to the cement trail. Ends at the sidewalk adjacent to Hwy 360 frontage road.
You can now get from Oliver Park all the way to 360. No bikes are allowed on the dirt trails in Oliver Park though. Bikes are allowed on the new paved path though.
The trails are had tons of people who were on bikes. As long as you are not running people over you can ride bikes.
