Bringing a partner is highly recommended. If you come alone there may be someone else who needs a partner. There is also a bouldering area where you can climb alone.
Having a partner helps for top rope, otherwise you don't need one for bouldering. Usually ppl dont mind a new friendly face joining their ranks. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, you can meet up with SCAB (Southwest Bouldering And Climbing on MeetUp). Its a great group headed by Alex, who's super knowledgeable and the group is a great way for beginners and ppl without partners to get in some good climbs, if you're too shy to approach ppl on your own.
Bringing a partner allows you to climb a bunch of other paths but you don't need one as you can still climb in the bouldering area.
Bringing a climbing partner is definitely advisable. However, if you be friendly you could probably enroll another single climber to help belay.
There are facebook groups you could join to find climbing partners. Such as Phx Local Climbing Friends.
You don't have to but I know going with one made it more fun.
While you don't need a partner to boulder (climb in designated areas with no ropes), you will need a partner to belay (hold your rop) on the top rope walls. There are often odd number groups to join in with, so pit on your friendly face, and get on up the wall!
I am not sure. I took my son.
