Fishing is allowed here and yes you can keep the fish but that's at your own risk. Remember to follow state regulations on size and bag limits.
Yes fishing license is required and fisbing is allow with limit sign posted at couple entrance to the park located on Sam Houston entrance.

Fishing is allowed! I see people doing it all the time with no issues from the officers patrolling the park.
Catch and release icing people fishing there I used to go there but it's a catch and release but check there with the person that works there and let it in at the park he's there somewhere or check if there's a sign around
