It is possible you may have some apps on the phone that are messing with the status of battery. J would recommend uninstalling cleaner apps or apps that will make the phone work better. These apps actually cause viruses and pop ups on the phone which can hinder the performace ans battery life. However, it could be a battery issue. You can buy these online from ebay. Metro pcs does not carry phone batteries. If the new battery does not work and the phone is in "like new" condition you can do a warranty on the phone that will take 7 to 8 business days for a new phone to arrive. The employees will be able to use the tmobile transfer app to transfer photos, contacts, etc. The last options is an upgrade. You will pay ,typically, promotional price plus 10 to 15 to activate the phone. The phone activation fee is standard when starting or turning on any device in the store.
Have you tried removing the battery and restarting the phone? If that doesn't work i would get a replacement.
They are wanting me to pay another 15 dollars for the upgrade even on the same phone
