I have a SEVIERE panic disorder, amongst other mental health diagnosis. Is this a good fit for mental health? I want nothing more than to find a doctor I can trust.

Hi Destini! We do pretty comprehensive medical management for anxiety and depression. We prescribe all medication classes including SSRIs, but do not prescribe chronic benzodiazepines, or any narcotics. Thus we also prescribe SNRIs, antipsychotics and or other mood stabilizing medications as needed. It all depends on what is going on. We do recommend therapy for all of our patients suffering from mental health issues as this has been shown to be the most effective for treatment. We refer therapy services out to our many very experienced providers in the community based on your need. Additionally, if your condition requires the care of a psychiatrist we will refer you out for that as well. Most importantly, we do listen and care for our patients as if they are our family. I see doctor brown for anxiety and depression. She will do basic things like an ssri but if you need a therapist and more extensive medications you will need to find a specialist or she can help you find one.
