If you're referring to widows and widowers benefits, the answer is yes. You will lose your benefits; but, only if you remarry PRIOR TO your 60th birthday (prior to 50th birthday if you're disabled). After age 60, remarrying does not affect your survivors benefits at all. If you choose to remarry prior to age 60, even if you get divorced, you will NEVER qualify to receive widow/widowers benefits again.
