All Walmarts are like that.
All Walmarts are nowhere near as horrible as this one. Even for the SELF checkouts, there are easily over 25-30 parties waiting in line while only 1-2 checkout lanes are open (with at least 10 parties outside the lanes). On weekends, good luck finding more than 3 employees in the store. The ones who are there are DEFINITELY not at the checkout. It is incredibly frustrating. I've lived in Illijnois, Michigan, Iowa, and now Cincinnati and this is by far the worst staffing I've ever encountered at a Walmart. I shop at Walmart for nearly everything and have stopped getting Groceries there because of this issue. It's horrible.
"All Walmarts are like that." While this is true, that doesn't make it acceptable.
To the credit f the cashiers though, they are proficient and swift with running our orders through. Speak your concerns to mgmnt so they can make corrections in their staffing patterns.
This Walmart is always like that.
Walmart prides itself on under staffing. They want the most work out of the fewest people as possible to maximize profits. This is why they have a hard time retaining good employees overall and have such a high turnover rate.
This store has been sub par from day one. If you must shop Walmart, find a different store.
Go in with patience. Sometimes it takes a while to get out of there .
That's exactly why I started going to kroger's, they always open checkouts when the lines get long there.
