Trucks WILL get towed or pay a huge fee after the tow truck is hooked up to you. I stopped at this location only because I was completely out of time. They do have signs that say unauthorized vehicles will be towed. So I thought I'd talk to a manager to see if I can't get "authorized" so I don't get towed. The, or "a", manager said I have to talk to the local police department about it which I did not do until around 8-9 hours later after I payed the towing fee. The local police department said it's private property, they have nothing to do with it. So I talked to the than manager on duty and he said Walmart has nothing to do with it. So which is it? Frustrating.
I had same problem with priority towing. Their practice of blocking trucks with their tow bar and demanding an unhooking fee when they arent even hooked up for towing is fraudulent and Walmart headquarters Bentonville AR says this practice is unethical. Ohio Attorney General and Evandale Police dept both recommended to me to take recourse against Priority Towing in small claims court. I will also make complaint to regulated industries asking them to revoke Priority Towing Business Tow Licence for abusing their tow contract with Walmart , exacting in an unscrupulous and fraudulent manner unhooking fees from Walmart patrons.
