Yes,you can. Going through something similar right now. I'm going to file Bankruptcy.
I'm not sure but legal aid or legal referral should be able to give you the answer. Or even try to find an lawyer that deals in bankruptcy. If not check the IRS site & see what it say or just call them. These are my best advice. Please update once you find out, I really am interested in this answer myself.
