This place is horrible. I got a colposcopy done and asked for something for the pain, the dr told mne no, i tried explaining my history as to why it hurts she said no, than after doing the procedure i was shaking and crying and she was laughing.

They do not do colonoscopies at JV. Your PCP puts in a referral to have it done at Cox or Mercy...

When I had my first colonoscopy they don't do it at Jordan Valley. They usually have your primary care physician refer you somewhere. Like I had mine done at Mercy and the shot they gave me before knocked me out. I was asleep the entire time and didn't feel any pain after. The reason they won't give you pain meds is because of the opioid addiction problem we have going on in our society so they're super careful giving that stuff out and prescriptions these days.

I've never had one there but it sounds like it was the Dr. not the clinic. I was out when I had mine.

I agree, they are horrible. I moved on to a Doctor at Mercy. I've always been knocked out when I get a colonoscopy, which I'm actually getting one this Thursday.
