We need a soup kitchen that has a no document policy but has other volunteers to assist with the obstacles the homeless and less fortunate face. Walk a mile, a week or years in a displaced soul and the mindset would change drastically in the approach. When you understand the disconnect then a true reconnect may happen.
They do help with proper documents. They only help the ones trying to help themselves.
Turn who away? They don't have many requirements. Act like a human being, proof of ID and residence inside Boulder County. That's about it.
Even ifyou do not have proper documentation they will still give you a sack lunch. They haveto follow rules fro what the state considers a soup kitchen. Go to the front desk and ask what you need to do
They have always been good to me. I do know they need to have the proper documents first.
Federal school district lines. Go federal to get the zone range changed to co -supportive in was of per dish per pound can be done but needs need to fund through Salvation Army and Red Cross to get Hope there too. Zone and fund supply can be dealt with that way.
You can go in during the food hours and get a meal twice a day they do that. Also there are good banks and churches that help.
