I have tried 3x to use this place homeless with autoimmune and was referred to boulder shelter instead I literally can't get ANY SERVICES FROM THEM. I get to cook food on a camping grill when I can afford the propane and don't get caught by the cops because and I quote "When can't serve you food we only serve people with homes. I know the homeless of Longmont because I am one and the general perception is this place is worthless if you are homeless. They want everyone sent to Boulder and the our center nice and clean. It's a racket!!!!!!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME

We need a soup kitchen that has a no document policy but has other volunteers to assist with the obstacles the homeless and less fortunate face. Walk a mile, a week or years in a displaced soul and the mindset would change drastically in the approach. When you understand the disconnect then a true reconnect may happen.
So if you are looking for section 8, it is closed in BoCo because of lack of funding. You can thank the current president for that. If you are looking for rental assistance then after meeting with a caseworker it only takes a few days. If accepted.

You need to have a card for the food court. To get a card, you have to set up a meeting at the front desk. If you qualify, you get a card. The meetings happen around 2 weeks after setting it up at the front desk.

The OUR Center may be able to assist while you are getting established in our community. The best advice is to call the main number 303-772-5529 and schedule an appointment to meet with a Resource Specialist.
The pet Pantry of Colorado is there every 3rd Tuesday from 9 to 11 in the parking lot

I have never had a problem with staff members or anybody else that is working at the our Center they always work to do their best to help people!
Yes! Food bank, clothing bank, they feed breakfast and lunch, and for people who qualify, rent or utility assistance.

I have general delivery for an address and get food. If you are homeless you can also get permission to use OUR center address for your mail. Just mail a postcard to yourself.
