This greyhound location is the worst. Back in January I booked a trip from Richmond VA to Chatanooga TN for a new job. I had to be at orientation at 7 am Monday morning. I left Richmond at 6:45 am. Had 2 bus swaps 1 in Durham and the other Asheville. Bus broke down in Raleigh and the replacement bus had no heat. Mind you it was about 10 degrees that day. Several of the buses did not have wifi nor power outlets as advertised. Good thing I brought a power block so my cellphone and tablet had power for the whole trip. Anyway back to the main point. Knoxville to Chatanooga was the last leg of my "14" hour bus trip. 1st off the heat was 98 degress inside the terminal. Outside was about 5. So you have a choice of sweating like your in a sauna or freezing to death on the platform or front of the terminal. On to the best part. So when my bus to take me to Chatanooga showed up greyhound had combined a route from somewhere else which caused the bus to be overbooked.
If you can locate the last bus you were on and search the luggage compartments. You can also track where the other buses are headed that were at that stop. Samething happened to me and I got a bus headed to where my luggage was last at.
If they would hold up a sign for departure / no working monitors /unhappy customer
Ok...
Greyhound is going down they use to be the best
Good luck. Always remember, Greyhound is the cheapest way to go. And the cheapest rides, tend to draw out thief's.
