Went there on a field trip with my daughter and it was nice. Informational, hands on, and the volunteer staff were wonderful. The kids were getting rowdy and not listening, so ive got to hand the staff for puting up with 3 first grade classes. They kept their cool when the kids started to get to rowdy and loud. All in all we had a good time. Nice little area, plenty of parking, seating for lunch, gift shop, and some other activities for everyone to enjoy. Great for the whole family, but being that it is outside and there are stairs, not too handicap accessible but still accessible. Great place, we had a great time

The kids loved looking in the buildings and talking to the people that knew the history of the buildings. Glad my kids love to learn about history.

Cool place with a resident cat. We didn't do the guided tour, but I will next time.

Depending upon the exact spot in downtown it is about 10-14 miles. Traffic determines whether it is a fast drive. Usually it's around 18 minutes for me.
Not in the governor's house but I would say so
