I didnt have a chance with this plant if I were to show them the two plant directions would they replace it for a hanging flower that is all for 6 + sun?

I wouldn't think so after you bought it. It's a living thing and a liability to resell because you didn't know your info.
You can try, but I would take pics of your area or work with someone if your a beginner.
