Yes. The more expensive guitars are behind a counter and you need to get an employee to help you out if you want to try one. The rest are out in the open to try.

Yes, you're absolutely allowed to play any guitar in the showroom. And, they don't hand over you while you're doing it. They'll even hook you up with an amp if you desire. Some of their more expensive Acoustics are locked in a humidor and you would have to have them get them out for you. But other than that you have free access to all guitars and basses... And there's a lot of them!
