One of the worst sport card and comic book show I've ever had booth space at. 5 people in the building if we were lucky, with Bruce and Rick yelling at vendors to move their cars to the back, as if it would make any difference. Most of the vendors just ignored them anyways, and that pot store of theirs always smelled disgusting.

Estate 48. Really a great company. There service is the greatest. If tou haven't you need to check them out. The owner Rick is one of the nicest people I have had the pleasure of doing business with on line. Wish there were a lot more like him. He is the greatest.

never been here, but I'm hoping to help bring your rating back up to what it should be after Linda impulsively ruined it. Hope to stop by soon!

I can’t say enough great things about Sportscard Central and the owner, Rick. The best part about this place is the customer service and the fair prices. Rick is knowledgeable and truly cares about his customers. The team here goes above and beyond. They are patient, courteous, and share information on anything they are able to help with. Sportscard Central has been in the business for years and there just aren’t places like this around so when you come across them, it makes it that much more special.

Cards from 1980’s 1990’s are from the over production era and generally not of significant value. However, there are some gems from that era so the collection should be gone through for hidden cards of value. Kobe Bryant Rookies, early Michael Jordans, etc. if you have any questions you can text pics of the cards at issue to 248-626-4300. Thanks! Rick Sportscard Central

Thanks for asking. We are only looking for complete sets or unopened boxes of pokemon to purchase. You can try selling the singles on ebay.

Sportscard Central Buys collections every week. The best way to start is to text us pics of the magnitude of the collection and any key cards of value you have. We will review the pics and reach out to you to let you know our thoughts. If the collection has significant value we can schedule an appointment to bring it in. If it is too large to move, we can discuss next steps with you. Text pics to 248-626-4300 to start Thanks Rick Sportscard Central

Are they open on weekends? I have an amazing vintage sports card collection I need to sell

During this covid time, we are open by appointment only to view collections for sale or consignment to auction. We are not open for walk in retail traffic. We are running online auctions to stay afloat until we can safely reopen for walk in traffic. When we do, we will be the largest Sportscard store in the region. Almost 8000 square feet.

Does this business authenticate autographs

Tony Mo | Nov 3, 2019
Ricky Behar | Nov 3, 2019

We can authenticate your autographs. However, if you are looking for authentication for purposes of selling, we recommend using a recognized service like PSA/DNA. We are regional representatives for PSA/DNA. We bring the experts who can place PSA's authentication hologram on your item to Detroit area a few times each year. Check our calendar or sign up for our email list for more info on dates and times. If you need authentication for personal purposes, we are more than capable of handling that for you. Just schedule a time to come in to our showroom in Waterford

Sportscard Central Buys collections every week. Text some pics of key items to 258-626-4300 to get started. Autographs are tricky in that the ones of significant value need to be authenticated regardless of how good they look to us. Whoever we sell them to is now one more step away from the person who got them and there needs to be a level of confidence for them. Lower end autographs might not sell for much any how, but generally don’t need to be authenticated as it would make selling them cost prohibitive. We are regional PSADNA representatives and can facilitate getting the autographs authenticated before or after purchase of the collection. Text pics to 248-626-4300 to get started. Thanks Rick Sportscard Central

This place is a joke and a dump. Use a good collectors shop, or sell on eBay. This ghetto place will close, if they haven't!

I appreciate the comment. Sportscard Central has been a prominent fixture on the Sportscard scene in Michigan for 45 years. We moved into our new store (almost 8000 Sf) just before Covid. We never had a chance to open for walk in traffic. We are sensitive to the spread of the disease and have not yet opened for walk in retail customers. However, we are meeting with sellers and consignors by appointment. To stay afloat until we can open, we are running online sports memorabilia auctions on our sister site, www.estate48.com. Once the pandemic has cleared and we feel confident in opening, you will find the largest Sportscard store, PSA and PSA/DNA Regional Reps. Expert level services and a wide range of products. Until then, Rick Sportscard Central

I have over 100 factory sealed cases of all kinds of sport cards that are over 25 years old. Have you any interest in buying them?

Jesse Seibert | Nov 3, 2018
Sportscard Central | Jan 6, 2022

Sportscard Central is always buying collections. No one in the region can match out but prices for volume collections like it sounds you have assembled. Send pics via text or a spread sheet to 248-626-4300. We can buy outright or accept on consignment for high profile auction. Thanks Rick Sportscard Central

Do you do appraisals for auction on baseball and football cards?
