We do not buy steel pennies. As for jewelry, we can buy gold, silver, platinum, and palladium jewelry. If you find jewelry, it must be reported to the police, if they are not able to find an owner they will release the jewelry to you with the proper documentation.
I dont know about the penny. I do know that you can bring pretty much anything that you think may be gold, and they will test it and tell you if it is gold or not. And if its gold, they will tell you what they will pay you for it, and you can choose to accept their offer or not. They will also pay you about 20% more than any of the pawn shops.
