Yes, we do. In order to tell if it is solid silver, check for the word "Sterling" marked somewhere on the item.
Do you take coins
Yes they are they open at 10 a.m.
If it is a physical coin you can hold then it is simply a physical representation of bitcoin. Most of them that we have seen are made of brass. Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency and does not have a physical form.
Yes, we sell silver and gold bullion. Most of the gold we sell is 1 oz or smaller coins. We typically carry 1oz rounds, 10oz bars, and 100oz bars of silver. Please be aware that we only accept cash or wire transfers for bullion purchases.
No, we are not hiring, but thank you for the interest.
No they don't they only deal in bullion and bar's
Yes they do, I've been there a couple times and both times they had customers in front of me that bought gold bars etc
I'm not sure you can always call them
Kevin thank you for your question. That would depend on the coin. While american silver eagles (modern) are bought a bit above spot, hallmarked silver rounds and 90% US silver coin is bought a bit below. Please feel free to visit our prices page for daily inquiries and market comparisons. Thank you for your interest.
They will give you the most money for your stuff.
Thank you for your questions. Iron pyrite is not worth anything to us. We are only interested in precious metals.
Yes, we do.
Sorry, we are only interested in gold, silver, platinum, and palladium coins.
We do not buy steel pennies. As for jewelry, we can buy gold, silver, platinum, and palladium jewelry. If you find jewelry, it must be reported to the police, if they are not able to find an owner they will release the jewelry to you with the proper documentation.
The state of Utah no longer allows us to purchase gold from the public that has been melted. To purchase that material from you, we require a business license in a precious metals related industry. If you just want a ball park estimate for it, bring it in to one of our locations and we can test it for you and estimate a price. Our prices are listed on our website at: https://www.cascaderefining.com/prices
Where would you sell a 1 pound bar of 24kt gold?
While it does fluctuate continually I haven't seen it over $1230 and ounce today, and it looks to have closed around $1222. Thanks.
Yes, we can buy them with stones. However, we only pay for diamonds 0.25 ct. and greater. If the stones are not removed then we estimate their weight and deduct that from the total item weight.
Correct, all the jewelry we buy gets melted and refined. We do buy vintage watches (if they are gold), but if you are wanting to get more than the scrap value, selling privately would likely be your best course.
Thank you for your question. We do not buy meteorites. We can only test metallic samples and our tests are geared for precious metals (gold, silver, platinum, palladium). You might have better luck taking it to a gem and rock show since there would be a high density of people that would be interested in it there.
Typically, for large purchases, we pay with a check or money wire.
Any found items need to be accompanied with the proper documentation that the item was given to the police and not claimed so is now your property.
Yes, we buy gold plated items. The average price is $0.01 per gram which is about $4.50 per pound. If the item is plated over a ferrous metal then we pay about $2.00 per pound. If the base metal is lead or other deleterious metal then we do not purchase it.
We can buy silver solder. However, if you do not have a commercial account with us, we do ask that you bring a receipt or other proof of ownership for it.
Yes, we refine all the jewelry that we buy so we pay the same whether it is new, used, or broken.
Yes, anyone can bring items in. We will evaluate them and give you a free estimate. We are very competitive with coin shops for many precious metal coins. If your coins are rare, key dates then you may get more for them at a coin shop.
