How does one obtain tickets at the venue prior to a show? I avoid paying crappy "convenience" fees whenever possible. Is there a difference in price if purchased day of show? Information provided on event listing is minimal.

Kinda what Jeff said. Midwestix is usually our ticket carrier. Other than that, you're most likely not going to be able to get tickets at the venue until the day of the show when doors open.

It depends on the agreement reached with the artist/promoter. Typically, there is a difference in price day of show and Lefty's event listings note if there is one. Lefty's is a smaller venue and doesn't have a box office. Most preshow ticket sales are through the artist, tickly, or iowatix.
