Neither are correct. We will sort it for you, it’s our intention to help you make the most money possible. We don’t want to have to do it every time though, so every time you visit have a look at what we’re doing. That way as we help you, you can help us;)
There are different grades, bare copper is #1 while copper wire that still has the insulation on it is a lower grade. Usually there are going to be around 6 or 7 different types of metal that people bring in. Copper, aluminum, brass, bronze, scrap steel including stainless steel, and cast iron. It's not too hard to figure out which is which and it will speed you through the process quicker if it's sorted beforehand but the guys that work there are pretty proficient at determining what you have and getting you in and out. A magnet is helpful as some metals are not magnetic. They also take electronics, laptops, circuit boards, towers, so clean out all that trash in the closet and get rid of that old Vista computer you've been saving for armageddon. I can take scrap in that I find just laying around and get $10-$20 without too much effort. 4-1/2 stars out of 5. An excellent company that helps the environment as well as putting some change in your pocket.
You have to separate yourself
You will probably have to sort it or take the lowest price for all of it
