A University City library card gives access to the collections of nine libraries in the St Louis area, called the Municipal Library Consortium. Those materials can be shipped to U City for your convenience. There are three other library systems in the St Louis area, the St Louis Public Library (city), the St Louis County Library, and the St Charles City-County Library.

The UCPL is not a part of the Public or County library systems, so no. The UCPL is part of a Library Consortium that includes Ferguson, Kirkwood, and of course U City. They have their own unique library card. The Richmond Heights Memorial Library is also a member.
