We were frying out of peoria, arrived early and did a quick stop at this library. Such a peaceful, clean, nice, small library. My 8.5 yo & I enjoying quick stops & some reading time in the middle of our busy days. My Origami skills are awful though...

The staff is always ready and willing to help out. It's a great branch in the middle of the city.

The librarians there are quite rude

Most of the people are helpful, very helpful. There is one woman who is completely rude & out of line - unless she knows the person or you're an elderly woman. If you ask her a question, she will ignore you unless you keep asking about 4 times. She isn't nice to her co-workers either... The Peoria Library District needs to move her to a desk job (in the back away from customers). But thank you to all the others that are so helpful.

Just come on in and fill out a form at the front desk. They'll usually process your application within the week and they'll be sending you a postcard and a temporary ID to access the computers. Once your address is confirmed and any prior fees you might have are settled, assuming you're getting a new one after losing it or letting your last one expire, they'll give you your permanent one and you're set.
Easy to get a card. And, if you live in a neighboring town with a library card from your town, you can check things out in Peoria libraries.
I've never made copies at the library. I have taken one to office Max to print. Prices are on office Max's website. Not sure if library staff actually looks or responds to these questions.
Every Thursday.
