I love this lake for fishing but went swimming there on fathers day and I’ll NEVER EVER swim there again. Slimy seaweed and goose poop everywhere 🤢 also a nasty ear infection from getting splashed, I refused to go past my knees but children splashed me. I’ve lived in this area my whole life and Lake Milton state park is a WAY BETTER and much cleaner beach to enjoy. It’s well worth the drive. Beach is combed nightly and grills tables basket ball and volleyball courts a playground way bigger beach, restroom showers real flushing toilets a beach store and most important clean clear water free of seaweed and poop like mosquito lake has. It’s always been a lovely beach.
Yes but I wouldnt honestly say the water is the best. At least 1 beach area to go swimming in though.
Well, there is what suspiciously looks like raw sewage leaking into it, and thetr is lots of dead fish
