Great fishing and just all around outdoor adventure. Come check out the lake. The lake is 10 miles long and about a miles wide and there is no horsepower limits on the lake so bring them speed boats out.

Nice scenery by the water. On this twentieth day April, there seem to be quite a few cars meeting up in pairs. Just for a few minutes though. Nice fishing opportunities out here, just like when I was a kid.

This is a very nice park. The lake is huge and the trails, beaches and campground are easily accessible. Great dog park! I look forward to more visits here.

We stayed in Camping Area 2 at site 206. My sister and her family stayed at 207. These sites were amazing! Huge and spacious and tons of shade. We actually were bummed that they weren't closer since we were camping together. The in-camp bathrooms are some of the worst I've ever seen. No running water and gates for doors, basically, with no locks. Better than going in the woods, but even that's debatable. The shower house we went to was great, though. There was no hot water in the showers at one point, assuming because it was a holiday weekend. I also really hated having to walk down that main road of the campground to get anywhere. I'm sure it's because it was Labor Day weekend but I was very uncomfortable walking through there with kids and dogs. Everyone was driving slow and going around us, but kids are unpredictable so it made me really nervous. I also didn't love having to drive to the beach. I see why the barriers are there seeing the traffic just in the campground, but again, there's nowhere that feels safe to walk from the campground to the beach. The nature play area was amazing and so was the beach playground. We'd come back to the campground just for those two things. We'd probably try to camp in Camping Area 1 though to be closer to the play area. The staff at the store was incredibly friendly too. Overall it was an awesome stay, I just didn't love the holes in the ground or the walking conditions. I'm sure we'll be back!

I love this lake for fishing but went swimming there on fathers day and I’ll NEVER EVER swim there again. Slimy seaweed and goose poop everywhere 🤢 also a nasty ear infection from getting splashed, I refused to go past my knees but children splashed me. I’ve lived in this area my whole life and Lake Milton state park is a WAY BETTER and much cleaner beach to enjoy. It’s well worth the drive. Beach is combed nightly and grills tables basket ball and volleyball courts a playground way bigger beach, restroom showers real flushing toilets a beach store and most important clean clear water free of seaweed and poop like mosquito lake has. It’s always been a lovely beach.
I just know there's good fishing, nice place to be.
There is a new flushable put in by marina dont think shower
I saw people swimming, I haven't gone, but others have been.
Yes there is. If you google "mosquitoe lake campground map".. it will come up under their website.
