Walmart is the epitome of poor customer service. Sadly I'm old enough to remember the days when "real" customer service was accomplished in person & face to face. The "in person" returns are still available if you're willing to wait in line for a long time. Please understand, I'm NOT a rude, nasty customer that delights in shaming or blaming someone for just trying to do their sh#t job. The floor staff employees are almost always older, very helpful and respectful. It's the waiting in line to check out with a human being that annoys me the most. Since Walmart offers customers the option of scanning & bagging their entire purchase themselves, why is it they don't offer a discount for saving this "company" at least a small percentage off for the customers who choose to or not able to do the work themselves? Anyone else notice the floor staff is often a senior who probably needs to augment their pitiful SS checks!? They're also usually the most helpful and courteous employees.
She's not wrong i tried every dept on the phone and made 5 calls for a bag i left. They don't have enough employees to cover the phones according to a team lead. Drove back the next day and they had placed my purchased items back on the shelf for resale. I know this because each item was the only one in the store as my son has 15sz shoes and he's 13. Thank God i had my receipt.
Yes, keep trying.
Has the Mackenzie Pointe Walmart replaced the electric grocery carts for the handicapped shoppers? Last time I was there--about two weeks ago--they had taken them all out.
Target restructured, is where I get hood customer service...phones I can pick up or ask any person stocking shelves ...often they give me the alphabet letter and number of the aisle...prominantly posted on columns. In Walmart. I asked a clerk. obviously a special needs person.....she found the item and gave me the aisle and there it was! I thanked her gave her 5 stars! Be pleasant and smile and end it with: God bless you!!!
All Walmarts in the United States are short on employees and need good workers to apply. It's sad that they can't get anyone to do their job there even with their starting pay at $15 an hour.
Due to Covid and restructuring they don't have anyone operating the phones from the fitting rooms anymore and even if they staff ppl to work in this day and age ppl are just not coming into to work no matter what area you are in and not all staff is Rude I have ran across some very friendly people that work for Walmart and I go to many throughout Missouri
Good luck, they suck.
Their customer service SUCKS! That is true of almost every Walmart I have ever been too. Since covid they will cut you off, cut in front of you, block aisles, and ignore you.
try hitting 00 on the menu a couple times when it gives you options sometimes companies will use that to dial their own service desk every once in awhile that works... lol or try going to paint or automotive. and see if they can transfer you where you need to be there's usually somebody at both those departments, so maybe that will help you kind of shuffle through a couple of the hoops...
Try to speak with a manager. The worker probably so busy stocking shelf and helping guests in store so much that it too much going on.
Call one of the departments with a phone--the pharmacy, the Subway, the vision center--and they'll transfer you, but they likely are busy at customer service and phones are the thing being ignored.
Keep trying
