My son applied several times on line but,he said was tur ed down every time.My question is :If someone doesnt have any experience and wants to get into the shipyard, howcan there application to learn a trade in the shipyard?

Go through the Marine training program at Thomas Nelson. You will have to pay but the shipyard will reimburse you once you are hired

He may need know someone in a higher up position or someone who has been working at NNS for a while and use them as a reference. Anything can help. Also, what job is here appling for? This could be why too.

All depends on what he put on his application don't give up

Just keep trying......trades fill quicker than expected. I got turned down 4 times before getting in.
