There is street meter parking on 11th Ave. It is a one hour limit, I believe. So you would have to feed it every hour. There is also a public parking lot on 11th Avenue between 57 and 58th Street. There may be another parking lot on West 57th Street between 11th and 12th Avenues on the Southside. I'm not sure that one is still there. Parking lots in the area generally have a reduced rate if you're in before 9 a.m., but their prices are not cheap
If I remember correctly there is a parking garage on 8th ave. If not, you have to park where you can find a spot.
