Yes! The first show (3 pm on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays) is very kid-and-family- friendly. The Exhibit Hall and other exhibit areas have lots of fun science and science fiction displays, and the Be The Astronaut components have cool hands-on components, including a simulated drive on the Moon or Mars. The Gravity Well is always a fun activity for kids, too!
Yes! Website provides descriptions of the planetarium shows and the age groups that they're appropriate for. It also has a small museum with lots of superhero and sci-fi memorabilia AND awesome interactive exhibits where you drive land rovers or fly rockets, like hands on video games.
