Jeffrey, it matters because some people actively seek to support minority small business owners. There's nothing wrong with asking whose pockets your hard earned money will be lining.
Tonia Day ,no this is not a black owned business. I however shop here on occasion because of the selection of high quality products that are not available at other stores in the city proper.
Why would you ask that? It shouldn't matter what race owns this business. It's a local company, that has great selection of groceries.
