Laurie, I would recommend an examination to see if full mouth extractions are indicated. There is a board certified veterinary dentist Dr. Hansen available as well. He would be the ideal person to evaluate your cat and determine what is in her best interest.
Years ago they extracted a tooth from my dog but now I have no idea. I know they do dentals though
