As one of the security guards I don't recommend cartwheel kicking or anything stupid but if people are cool and pick each other up and are having a good time, it's good. You will get kicked out if you're being stupid. 21+ tomorrow night

Yeah, it is. It's a very small space so only a few can be in the pit at a time. Gotta watch yourself, though. When I was there, one guy got knocked unconscious and he and his friends were removed from the premises.
Mosh pits and other kinds of puts happen there all the time with the right band and crowd. I saw a lady fly across the room once; it was awesome, but terrifying.

I don't feel the venue is conducive to mosh pits. Sure, you could do it there if you wanted to, but it doesn't have that vibe. That's, of course, my opinion.
