There are 2 small ponds in Echota and fishing is allowed. Across the street from the entrance to Echota you can fly fish as well as fly fishing in Valle Cruz Park located by the General Store about 7 minutes away.
There is a trout farm nearby on Hwy. 105. The may or may not be open every day. Otherwise, make sure you have a fishing license if fishing in any open streams....the Game Warden is watching!
