I also tried calling and calling to make an appt , but no one seems to answer the phone. My license expired on the 4th and I cannot renew on line. When I went to the office, I was greeted with a large NO WALK INS. What now???

Spruce Pine accepts walk ins but only on Monday and Tuesday 8am-4pm. I had to get my NC license and when I went to Burnsville they said no walk ins and they were booked through October so I went to Spruce Pine

You need to go the NCDMV website and follow the instructions to make an appt.
