While Gordon County does not see this so much as a "crime", it is still possible for him to be arrested. Do not throw away any written threats that he has made against your animal. If you feel he may actually take action, you can take copies of those written threats and seek a restraining order, either a TPO or PPO. Now with that being said, there is also a Leash-Law in Georgia. How far from your residence does the man live? Was there any provocation to why he is threatening your animal?
Yes of course it's animal threats that's illegal
